By popular request, I’m bringing you the tutorial on how to download from youtube. There are many ways to kill a cat but I’ll be bringing you some of the convenient ones.
1. Downloading from keepvid.com
a) Open the youtube page containing the video you want to download, ( the page that shows the video)
b) Copy the address from the address bar ( highlight the address and right click, then select copy)
c) Open a new tab/page in your browser and go to www.keepvid.com
d) There will be a column that says ‘Enter url or search here” paste the youtube address there and click search / download
e) When the page has successfully finished loading, you will see a group of download links for the format you want to download.
f) Select the version and there you have it
NB: You must have the latest version of java installed on your machine and if your browser/windows gives a prompting to run, go ahead and run otherwise, it won’t work.
2. Downloading from savevid.com
a) The steps are almost the same for keepvid. The major difference is that instead of going to keepvid, you must go to http://www.savevid.com to paste the url.

3. Downloading using kissyoutube.
a) Open the youtube page containing the video you want to download, ( the page that shows the video)
b) Type kiss in front of youtube in the address bar without changing any other thing. Eg. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_DlcR2EM8as becomes http://www.kissyoutube.com/watch?v=_DlcR2EM8as. And press ENTER when you are done. Your page will be redirected to another page where you should see your download links.
